Bed Frame Disassembly Questions to Answer Before Pickup
Identify the frame type, find the hardware, and separate the mattress question from the bed-frame scope.
Identify what is actually assembled
A simple metal rail frame, platform bed, storage bed, and adjustable base are different jobs. Photograph the corners, center support, headboard connection, and any power components.
Confirm who handles disassembly
Ask whether disassembly is included and which tools the crew expects. Keep the manufacturer instructions if you have them. Do not cut, pry, or disconnect powered equipment without the correct procedure.
Bag and label the hardware
If you disassemble a suitable frame yourself, place bolts and fittings in a sealed bag and label the part they belong to. Keep reusable pieces together instead of mixing them into general debris.
